General Manager Opportunity | NYC Fine Dining
We’re working with a renowned, high-profile New York City restaurant to identify a seasoned General Manager to lead operations. This concept is recognized for its luxury dining experience, high volume, and uncompromising service standards—making this an excellent opportunity for a proven leader to step into a flagship role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of daily restaurant operations, ensuring a consistently elevated and seamless guest experience
- Lead and develop a large front-of-house and management team, setting clear expectations and driving performance
- Manage all financial aspects of the business, including P&L oversight, labor controls, and expense management
- Champion operational excellence while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability
- Work closely with culinary leadership to maintain alignment on quality, service flow, and overall execution
- Uphold the integrity of the brand while cultivating a culture centered on hospitality, accountability, and precision
- Engage with guests and build lasting relationships, particularly with VIP and repeat clientele
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 5+ years of General Manager experience in high-volume, fine dining environments
- Demonstrated success leading teams in upscale or luxury restaurant settings
- Strong financial and operational background, including direct P&L management
- Natural leader with a hands-on approach to coaching and team development
- Detail-oriented with a deep understanding of refined service standards
- Composed, professional, and thrives in fast-paced, high-expectation environments
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $155,000 – $160,000
- Bonus: 20% performance-based
