We are seeking a Procurement Engineer to support sourcing and supplier strategy for complex HVAC and mechanical systems within mission-critical and federal environments.
This role blends engineering expertise with procurement execution, ensuring technical requirements translate into effective purchasing decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret HVAC/mechanical specifications and align with sourcing strategy
- Lead RFP/RFQ processes and evaluate supplier capabilities
- Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and contract terms
- Partner with engineering and project teams to ensure technical alignment
- Support supplier selection for complex infrastructure projects
- Track cost, performance, and vendor delivery metrics
- Contribute to procurement planning across multiple projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
- 3–5 years of experience in:
- engineering
- procurement
- or a hybrid of both
- Experience with HVAC, MEP, or mechanical systems
- Exposure to vendor coordination, sourcing, or supplier management
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or federal environments
- Familiarity with RFPs, contract negotiation, and supplier evaluation
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
