Head Chef Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience with food ordering and inventory management
- Strong knife skills
- Knowledge of food and labor cost controls
- Prior kitchen leadership or head chef experience in a full-service environment
- New Restaurant Opening experience
- Must be able to work evenings & weekends
- Must be able to perform physical duties of the job including prolonged standing and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Head Chef Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead the kitchen team of approximately 14 BOH staff
- Maintain high standards in food preparation, safety, and cleanliness
- Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost controls
- Train and develop team members, contributing to a positive and productive kitchen culture
- Collaborate with leadership to achieve operational and financial targets
- Support take-out and delivery operations alongside dine-in service
