Job Title: Restaurant Manager (Customer Experience Focused)
Location: Mentor, OH Market
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations and deliver an exceptional dining experience. This role is responsible for ensuring high service standards, developing team members, and maintaining a welcoming, efficient, and profitable restaurant environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is passionate about hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience
- Champion a culture of outstanding guest service and hospitality
- Address customer feedback and resolve concerns quickly and professionally
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality dining experience for all guests
- Monitor service flow and step in to support during peak hours
Team Leadership & Development
- Hire, train, and mentor front- and back-of-house staff
- Set clear expectations for service standards and performance
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and recognition
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
Operations Management
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Manage scheduling to ensure proper staffing levels
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards
Financial Performance
- Monitor and manage labor and food costs
- Analyze sales, customer trends, and performance metrics
- Implement strategies to increase revenue and customer retention
- Handle cash management and reporting responsibilities
Quality Control
- Ensure food and beverage quality meets company standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain consistency and efficiency
- Conduct regular checks on service, food presentation, and cleanliness
Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of restaurant management experience (preferred)
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of delivering high customer satisfaction
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, POS systems, and health regulations
Preferred Skills
- Experience improving customer satisfaction scores or online reviews
- Strong conflict resolution and decision-making skills
