Restaurant Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of restaurant leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication and people skills
- Solid understanding of food safety and shift management
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and game days
Restaurant Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Create a friendly, guest-first atmosphere by engaging with guests and ensuring high service standards
- Lead, coach, and motivate front-of-house and back-of-house team members
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and team training to build a positive culture
- Manage daily operations, including shift procedures, food quality, and cleanliness
- Enforce sanitation, safety, and compliance with health department standards
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost-control initiatives
- Build rapport with guests and represent the company in the community
