Front of House Manager — Upscale family dining
Responsibilities:
- Manage all front of house operations — dining room, host stand, takeout, private dining.
- Greet and seat guests. Manage the flow of the dining room.
- Take orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen.
- Handle private room (Amber Room) reservations and guest setup.
- Bus tables, reset for next guests, keep the floor clean.
- Know the menu — what's in each dish, common allergens, halal status — and answer guest questions confidently.
- Process payments and handle takeout/pickup orders via POS.
- Train FOH staff to upsell — appetizers, desserts (künefe, baklava), catering services, and private dining bookings.
- Set and enforce customer service standards. Handle complaints and resolve issues on the spot.
- Maintain the restaurant's brand image — cleanliness, music, lighting, table presentation, staff appearance, and overall atmosphere.
- Manage the restaurant's social media presence and online reputation as needed.
- Handle daily cash counts, register reconciliation, credit card batching, and bank deposits.
- Manage FOH labor — hiring, scheduling, payroll tracking, and controlling labor costs.
- Track FOH-related expenses (supplies, linens, serviceware, POS fees).
- Communicate daily sales figures and any financial discrepancies to ownership.

Requirements:
- 2+ years managing FOH in a full-service restaurant.
- Strong with numbers, POS systems, and cash handling.
- Must lead by example on the floor — this is not a desk job.
- Weekend and evening availability required.
