Kitchen Manager Benefits & Compensation

Kitchen Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous experience managing a scratch kitchen or upscale coffee/food concept
- Strong background in kitchen leadership and back-of-house operations
- Proven knowledge of food safety standards and ServSafe Certification preferred
Kitchen Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience with QSRs featuring scratch kitchens or higher-end coffee concepts
- Skills in vendor relationships, ordering, and food cost management
- Familiarity with batch cooking, prep systems, and recipe management
Kitchen Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead back-of-house team in daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and fresh ingredient standards
- Oversee food safety, sanitation, inventory, ordering, and waste management
- Execute menu items, maintain prep lists, and ensure recipe consistency
- Optimize portion control and manage kitchen costs to achieve financial targets
- Motivate, train, and mentor kitchen staff to foster a positive work environment
