Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering an inclusive and positive work environment.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily café operations, ensuring smooth workflow, efficiency, and adherence to brand standards.
- Financial Management: Monitor budgets, control costs, and analyze P&L statements to drive revenue and profitability.
- Guest Experience: Maintain high service standards, address guest feedback, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation guidelines, and workplace safety protocols.
- Inventory & Vendor Relations: Manage inventory levels, supplier relationships, and ordering processes to maintain quality and cost control.
- Technology & Systems Management: Utilize POS systems, scheduling software, and financial reporting tools to streamline operations.
- Marketing & Community Engagement: Collaborate on local partnerships, promotions, and social media initiatives to enhance brand presence.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years in a leadership role within the hospitality, café, quick-service, or fast-casual restaurant industry with scratch kitchens.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with POS systems, scheduling software, inventory tracking, and financial reporting tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership abilities.
- Passion for Wellness: Interest in health-conscious dining, sustainability, and community engagement.
- Certifications: ServSafe Manager Certification
- Schedule Flexibility: Availability to work a mix of weekdays, weekends, and occasional holidays, while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
