Facilities Manager
📍 Northern Virginia (Onsite / Field-Based)
💰 $150K – $175K Base + Strong Benefits
I’m working with a highly respected, high-volume restaurant group in Northern Virginia that is expanding its construction and facilities team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being in the field, solving problems, and owning projects from start to finish — not sitting behind a desk managing from a distance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing restaurant facilities, with some involvement in construction projects (ground-up, remodels, capital improvements), specifically taking finished projects online.
- Ensure repairs and maintenance is done in a timely and professional manner.
- Troubleshooting issues in real time, especially around MEP systems and commercial kitchens
- Supporting ongoing repairs & maintenance (R&M) across multiple locations
- Collaborate with the Director of Construction and the Construction Superintendent on new construction or remodels.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in restaurant facilities management, operations, and/or construction
- Strong experience managing all components of a restaurant facility, including HVAC, MEP, exterior maintenance, and managing vendors.
- Ability to read drawings and understand mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Someone who is hands-on, accountable, and comfortable in a lean team
This Role Is NOT For
- Pure real estate development backgrounds
- Portfolio-level managers who don’t touch projects
- Candidates looking for remote or highly corporate environments
