Executive Chef Responsibilities
- Lead all culinary operations with a focus on quality, consistency, and execution
- Coach, mentor, and develop kitchen leadership and hourly team members
- Uphold scratch-cooking standards with an emphasis on refined, approachable cuisine
- Maintain disciplined control over food cost, labor, and kitchen systems
- Collaborate on menu development, seasonal changes, and culinary innovation
- Remain hands-on in daily operations, including leading services when needed
- Serve as a steward of culinary standards, team culture, and overall brand integrity
Executive Chef Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as an Executive Chef in upscale or chef-driven dining environments
- Strong background in high-quality, scratch kitchens with a focus on execution
- Hands-on leadership style with presence, accountability, and humility
- Proven ability to develop and elevate established teams
- Stable career progression with demonstrated tenure in prior roles
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
