Director of Marketing Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Marketing to lead brand development and drive revenue growth for a rapidly expanding restaurant group. This individual will be responsible for creating and executing innovative marketing strategies across multiple concepts, ensuring brand consistency while elevating guest engagement and loyalty.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of creative vision, data-driven decision-making, and deep experience in hospitality or lifestyle brands.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Development
- Lead the overall marketing vision and brand positioning for all restaurant concepts
- Ensure cohesive storytelling, voice, and visual identity across all platforms
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new openings and concept launches
Digital & Performance Marketing
- Oversee digital marketing efforts including social media, email, SEO/SEM, and paid advertising
- Analyze campaign performance and optimize strategies based on KPIs (traffic, conversion, ROI)
- Manage website presence, online ordering platforms, and third-party partnerships
Public Relations & Partnerships
- Cultivate relationships with media, influencers, and local community partners
- Drive PR initiatives, press coverage, and event marketing opportunities
- Identify and execute strategic brand collaborations
Guest Engagement & Loyalty
- Develop initiatives to increase guest frequency, retention, and lifetime value
- Oversee CRM, email marketing, and loyalty programs
- Enhance the overall guest journey through marketing touchpoints
Operations & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Operations, Culinary, and Leadership teams to align marketing with business goals
- Support location-level marketing efforts and local store marketing strategies
- Ensure seamless communication between marketing and in-store execution
Leadership & Team Development
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team
- Manage external agencies, designers, and vendors
- Oversee departmental budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of marketing experience, preferably within hospitality, restaurants, or lifestyle brands
- Proven success in multi-unit or multi-concept environments
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and customer acquisition strategies
- Experience with restaurant marketing platforms (OpenTable, Resy, Toast, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Experience working with Franchises
- Experience with multi-state campaigns
