Position Overview
The Executive Chef oversees all culinary operations, crafting a hospitality-driven dining experience that enriches residents’ daily lives. This role blends culinary excellence, nutrition, and compassionate service, with a strong, hands-on leadership presence.
Executive Chef Responsibilities
- Develop and execute flavorful, nutritionally balanced menus tailored to dietary needs (low-sodium, diabetic, texture-modified, allergen-conscious).
- Engage with residents to gather feedback and elevate the overall dining experience.
- Lead, coach, and mentor the culinary team, fostering accountability and a positive culture.
- Oversee kitchen operations including purchasing, inventory, scheduling, and cost control.
- Manage food and labor costs while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Create special events, themed menus, and interactive dining programs.
Executive Chef Qualifications
- 5+ years of Executive Chef or senior culinary leadership experience (senior living or healthcare preferred).
- Strong knowledge of nutrition and dietary restrictions.
- Proven leadership, communication, and team development skills.
- Solid financial and operational acumen.
- ServSafe certification required (or obtainable); culinary degree preferred.

Salary Range- $90,000 plus bonus and benefits
