Our client is a growing, relationship-driven independent insurance agency seeking a Commercial Lines Producer to drive new business and expand our commercial portfolio. This is a true hunter role ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, generating opportunities, and closing deals.
You’ll have the support of an experienced service team, strong carrier relationships, and the flexibility to build your book your way.
What You’ll Do:
- Prospect, develop, and close new commercial lines business
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach
- Identify client needs and design tailored insurance solutions
- Work closely with Account Managers to onboard and retain clients
- Manage the sales cycle from initial contact through binding coverage
- Maintain relationships with carrier partners and stay current on market trends
- Participate in community and industry events to build your presence
What We’re Looking For:
- Active P&C license (required)
- 2+ years of commercial lines sales experience (or strong sales background with insurance exposure)
- Proven ability to generate new business and meet production goals
- Strong understanding of commercial coverages (GL, BOP, WC, Property, Auto, etc.)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, driven, and comfortable working independently
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a long-term growth focus
