Accounts Payable / Accounting Coordinator Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- Recent graduates encouraged to apply
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and contribute to a team
Accounts Payable / Accounting Coordinator Preferred Background & Skills
- Internship or previous experience in accounting or accounts payable
- Familiarity with accounting software (Spectrum or similar)
Accounts Payable / Accounting Coordinator Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Process and enter vendor invoices and documentation accurately
- Match invoices, purchase orders, and receipts for approval
- Assist with weekly check runs and electronic payments
- Maintain vendor records, including W-9s and 1099 information
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Support month-end accounting processes and project cost tracking
- Maintain organized accounting files and communicate with internal teams regarding invoice approvals and coding
