A growing manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Engineer to support daily quality execution at a developing plant operation. This role will focus on inspections, corrective actions, customer quality issues, and helping build strong quality systems and discipline across the floor. The ideal candidate will bring hands on manufacturing quality experience, comfort in a fast paced environment, and the ability to take ownership of issues from identification through closure.
Quality Engineer Responsibilities
- Support incoming, in process, and final inspection activities
- Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and customer quality issue follow up
- Maintain quality documentation, nonconformance records, and audit ready files
- Partner with production, engineering, and suppliers to improve quality performance
Quality Engineer Qualifications
- 5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with inspections, root cause analysis, 8D, and corrective actions
- Working knowledge of IATF 16949 or similar quality system requirements
- Automotive, injection molding, or other regulated manufacturing experience is preferred
