A beautiful local venue is looking for an Event Manager to join their team. If you have experience booking, coordinating, and executing special events and you love working with a close-knit team, this position would be ideal for you!
Event Manager Responsibilities:
- Plan and solicit sales, and grow the business
- Be the primary point of contact for clients and provide outstanding service at every step
- Collaborate with other leaders in the space for the best possible outcomes
- Handle all inbound leads in an efficient and professional manner
- Prepare event proposals and negotiate contracts with clients
Event Manager Qualifications:
- Existing book of contacts and network in the Asheville market.
- Creative thinking with the ability and desire to be flexible and adaptable
- 2 years' experience in Event Planning and Execution – wedding planning knowledge would be an added bonus
- Ability to work a schedule that is weekend-heavy and can fluctuate.
Event Manager Benefits and Compensation:
- Base salary of $45-$53K plus attractive commission for the events you capture
