Software Sales Manager

The ideal candidate has proven hardware sales experience, especially in AI/HPC storage solutions, and a strong network with OEMs and ODMs.

Requirements:

– Bachelor's in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field  

– 3-5 years in hardware sales, focusing on AI/HPC, data centers, or enterprise storage  

– Existing relationships with OEMs like Dell, HPE, Lenovo, etc., and channel partners  

– Expertise in storage technologies (NVMe SSDs, all-flash, JBOD, Lustre, GPFS, InfiniBand, NVMe-oF, RoCE)  

– Knowledge of GPU clusters, AI/ML workloads, and infrastructure needs  

– Familiar with GPU OEMs and data center solutions (NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Supermicro, Dell, HPE)  

– Experience working with cloud or colocation providers is a plus  

– Strong technical knowledge and ability to discuss hardware with architects and engineers  

– Proven success closing high-value deals with enterprise or hyperscale clients  

– Excellent communication and negotiation skills  

– Willing to travel for meetings, events, and conferences 

 

Responsibilities

– Create and execute sales plans for AI/HPC hardware, storage, and networking solutions  

– Find and close new business in AI, HPC, cloud, and data center markets  

– Use and grow your existing relationships to accelerate deals  

– Advise clients on full AI/HPC system configurations, especially storage options  

– Build relationships with procurement, engineers, and executives  

– Collaborate with internal teams to align sales with product offerings  

– Keep current on industry trends and competitors  

– Represent company at industry events to grow presence  

– Meet or exceed sales goals and report progress regularly  

– Present technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences  

Commission structure ranges from 0% to 8% based on tiered gross profit.
