We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Learning & Development to lead all training initiatives across a flagship luxury hospitality property in NYC. This role will drive service excellence, leadership development, and operational consistency across a multi-outlet environment while building scalable frameworks for future growth.
You will partner closely with executive leadership to ensure all learning initiatives directly impact performance, guest experience, and brand standards at an ultra-luxury level.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the overall L&D strategy aligned with business goals and brand standards
- Design scalable training programs across hotel, membership, F&B, and operations
- Develop leadership capability through coaching, performance management, and succession planning
- Implement and manage LMS, training content, SOPs, and compliance programs
- Establish KPIs and reporting to measure training effectiveness and operational impact
- Partner with department leaders to identify gaps and deliver targeted training solutions
- Support growth and expansion through scalable onboarding and training frameworks
Qualifications
- 7+ years in Learning & Development, Training, or Hospitality Leadership
- 2–3+ years in a senior or director-level role within luxury or high-end service environments
- Proven ability to build and scale L&D programs in multi-outlet operations
- Strong understanding of luxury service standards and guest experience
- Experience with LMS platforms, training analytics, and leadership development
- Excellent communication and executive presence
