Sous Chef Requirements & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a scratch, fine-dining or upscale-casual kitchen
- High-volume kitchen experience
- Strong attention to quality and adherence to standards
- Hands-on, team-oriented leadership style
Sous Chef Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Train, coach, and support kitchen staff with ongoing feedback
- Ensure consistent quality of food and service
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen that meets all health and safety guidelines
- Oversee food ordering and assist with food and labor cost management
- Manage staff scheduling and support efficient operations
