A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a senior-level attorney to support its insurance coverage practice. This role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented legal professional who excels in writing, thrives in complex litigation environments, and is confident managing cases independently while taking on leadership responsibilities.
Senior Associate Responsibilities:
- Evaluate insurance policies and prepare detailed coverage analyses and advisory opinions for insurer clients
- Support and lead litigation efforts in state and federal courts, including declaratory judgment actions and policyholder disputes
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and mediation statements
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court officials
- Conduct legal research and manage discovery processes, including document review and production
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and coordinate with expert witnesses and consultants
Senior Associate Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing
- Demonstrated experience handling insurance coverage matters involving liability, professional liability, or executive risk policies
- Strong legal writing and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally as required
