A globally recognized leader in freight forwarding and supply chain solutions is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Supervisor or Sales Manager to join our team in North York, Toronto. In this role, you will develop relationships with existing customers while actively generating new business. You will onboard new clients, promote a comprehensive range of services including Ocean Import/Export, Air Import/Export, Domestic, Cross-Border, and Contract Logistics, and collaborate with management to achieve sales targets. Responsibilities include creating quotes and annual bid proposals, identifying market trends and competitive rate actions, and maintaining consistent communication with the Operations team and overseas offices. With a strong focus on customer service, you will address client inquiries and concerns while leveraging your supply chain expertise to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Sales Manager job requirements
- Sales Supervisor: Minimum 3+ years of international freight forwarding sales experience; Sales Manager: Minimum 5+ years of international freight forwarding sales experience
- Existing client base required; proven track record in logistics or freight forwarding sales
- Knowledgeable in freight forwarding operations, including Ocean and Air Import/Export
- Experience managing a sales team and driving business growth (for Manager level)
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills, ability to analyze market trends and client needs, and fluent in spoken and written English
Sales Manager salary and benefits
- Highly incentivized compensation structure: Sales Supervisor – $65,000 base salary plus performance-based incentives; Sales Manager – From $85,000 base salary plus performance-based incentives.
