Sales Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in a sales position, preferably B2B
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with sales CRM systems
- High school diploma required; associate’s degree preferred
- Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident, self-starter comfortable working with minimal supervision
Sales Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience in the printing or paper industry is an advantage
- Ability to adapt and prioritize in a dynamic work environment
- Positive attitude and high level of energy
Sales Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead and execute national inside sales initiatives, reporting directly to the VP of Sales
- Identify and acquire new customers while nurturing relationships with existing clients
- Collaborate with leadership, customer service, and operations teams to maximize sales opportunities
- Follow up on new business leads via phone and email
- Maintain accurate sales data in CRM systems and prepare performance reports
