A well-established local concept is seeking a Head Chef to take full ownership of a high-volume, scratch-driven kitchen. This role is ideal for a strong culinary leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can execute large functions seamlessly, and is passionate about building and leading high-performing teams.
We’re looking for a chef who leads from the front—someone who is organized, driven, and sets the standard for food quality, consistency, and execution every day.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee all back-of-house operations with full accountability for performance
- Lead high-volume service and execute large-scale events/functions
- Build, train, and develop a strong BOH team and leadership bench
- Manage food cost, labor, inventory, and ordering
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment
- Partner with FOH leadership to deliver an exceptional guest experience
Head Chef Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or strong Sous Chef ready to step up
- Full-service restaurant experience required
- Proven success in high-volume operations ($2M+ annual sales)
- Strong leadership presence with a hands-on, team-first approach
- Results-driven with strong organizational and operational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Passion for hospitality, food quality, and team development
