A leading international law firm is seeking a driven and detail-oriented insurance coverage attorney to join its dynamic team. This role focuses on complex management liability matters, including Directors & Officers (D&O), Employment Practices Liability (EPL), and Errors & Omissions (E&O). Candidates must be admitted in New York and bring at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Senior Associate Responsibilities:
- Analyze insurance policies and prepare coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and strategic recommendations
- Conduct in-depth legal research and draft analytical memoranda
- Prepare and review pleadings, briefs, discovery materials, and other litigation documents
- Draft professional correspondence to opposing counsel and involved parties
- Participate in mediations, hearings, and other proceedings as needed
- Support litigation strategy and collaborate with team members on complex coverage matters
Senior Associate Requirements:
- Active admission to the New York bar with 3+ years of relevant experience
- Strong legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Experience with insurance coverage litigation (management liability preferred)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to handle confidential and time-sensitive matters with discretion
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
