We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join a high-volume, upscale restaurant in Boston. This role is ideal for a strong kitchen leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations
- Lead and develop a team in a high-volume setting
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes
- Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost controls
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and organization
- Step in to lead the kitchen when needed
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of Sous Chef or Kitchen Management experience
- Background in high-volume, upscale or fine dining
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Experience with food cost, labor, and kitchen operations
- Ability to stay organized and composed under pressure
