General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of general manager experience in quick service or high-volume restaurant settings (preferably $2M+ revenue)
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Proven ability to manage P&L and drive profitability
- Experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to brand standards
- Manage full P&L responsibility, analyzing financial reports and implementing action plans for growth
- Recruit, train, and develop team members, building a positive and high-performing work environment
- Ensure high standards of food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance
- Lead exceptional guest service efforts, promptly resolving concerns and driving customer satisfaction
- Control inventory, waste, and labor scheduling to meet operational targets
