Corporate Controller
Location: New York City
Salary: $130,000 – $160,000

We are partnering with a fast-growing, NYC-based hospitality group operating multiple restaurant concepts, a central kitchen, and additional business lines. The organization is expanding and building out its internal infrastructure, creating an opportunity for a strong, hands-on accounting leader to make a real impact.
About the Role
This is a hands-on Corporate Controller position — not a high-level, strategic-only role.
We are looking for someone who is actively involved in the day-to-day accounting, including owning the monthly close, managing reconciliations, and ensuring accurate financial reporting across multiple entities.
This role will play a key part in helping build structure, improve processes, and support a growing, operationally complex business.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute monthly close (hands-on)
- Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
- Manage multi-entity accounting and consolidations
- Oversee financial reporting across business units
- Monitor cash flow and support forecasting
- Oversee payroll, AP/AR, and inventory accounting
- Analyze cost performance and unit-level P&Ls
- Improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Partner with internal teams to build structure and efficiency
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on accounting experience (currently in the details)
- Experience owning monthly close end-to-end
- Multi-entity accounting and consolidation experience
- Background in hospitality, restaurant, retail, food, or similar industries
- Experience with inventory, cost accounting, and operational P&Ls
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth environment
- Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin (does not need to be fluent)
Nice to Have
- CPA
- Experience with lender or investor reporting
- Experience in a scaling or high-growth company
- Exposure to central kitchen or multi-revenue stream operations
