Vice President of Sales – Santa Monica, CA
A leading bio-based packaging solutions provider is seeking a driven VP of Sales to accelerate growth and build national market presence. This is a high-impact opportunity to lead innovation in sustainable packaging, direct a nationwide sales team, and foster key industry relationships at an organization committed to environmental change.
Vice President of Sales & Compensation
- Salary up to $200,000 per year based on experience
- Sales commission override bonus based on your team’s performance
- Stock options determined by management

Vice President of Sales Requirements & Qualifications
- 10+ years of sales experience in plastics, packaging, manufacturing, or industrial markets
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage large sales teams
- Existing relationships with national chain retailers and grocers
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated record of generating leads and closing deals
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- MBA preferred
Vice President of Sales Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience building a national sales team and tiered management structures
- Customer relationship management expertise
- Proficiency with prospecting, lead generation, and sales forecasting
Vice President of Sales Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Recruit, develop, and lead a team of over 100 national sales representatives
- Build and oversee a tiered sales management platform
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in plastics, manufacturing, and industrial markets
- Leverage industry connections to expand relationships with national retail and grocery chains
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business
- Manage the entire sales pipeline, from prospecting and quoting to closing deals
- Track statewide sustainable packaging legislation and industry trends
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain detailed sales reports, forecasts, and customer records
