We are currently looking for an Executive Chef to join our team! We are a food-focused concept with great guest experience!
Executive Chef Requirements:
- Menu Management: Direct the preparation, seasoning, and cooking of salads, soups, fish, meats, vegetables, desserts, or other foods. Plan and price menus.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation. Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff.
- Inventory & Purchasing: Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies. Monitor and control food and labor costs to meet budget requirements.
- Quality Control: Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure conformance to established standards. Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food displays.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain food production records, copies of recipes and menu compiles, and food wastage logs. Ensure all kitchen operations comply with local health department codes.
Executive Chef Requirements:
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years of experience as an Executive Chef or 3–5 years as a Chef de Cuisine/Executive Sous Chef in an upscale casual or fine-dining environment.
- Culinary Expertise: Proven technical proficiency in Mediterranean and Italian cuisines with a focus on seasonal, scratch-made menu development.
- Mentorship: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing kitchen team, fostering a culture of professional growth and culinary excellence.
