General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of general manager experience in high-volume QSR or fast casual environments
- Proven success managing $2M+ in annual revenue
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Hands-on experience with P&L management and cost controls
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred
General Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Burger King brand experience
- Ability to thrive in high-volume, high-pressure settings
- Results-driven and passionate about developing talent
- Strong communication skills with a focus on accountability and team morale
General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily restaurant operations for efficiency, quality, and service speed
- Maintain Burger King brand standards for food safety and cleanliness
- Manage P&L, control labor and food costs, and drive sales growth
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team
- Foster a culture of accountability, recognition, and engagement
- Ensure prompt and friendly guest service while quickly resolving concerns
- Monitor financial and guest satisfaction KPIs and implement improvement plans
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations and maintain a safe work environment
