Personal Lines Sales Producer – Woburn, MA

Personal Lines Sales Producer Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Property & Casualty Insurance License required
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the insurance industry
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to prospect, market, sell, and close new business
- Strong organizational, time management, and follow-through skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients, carriers, and referral partners
- Working knowledge of agency management software, insurance rating tools, Microsoft Office, and the internet
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional presence and commitment to client service
Personal Lines Sales Producer Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Generate new organic business while maintaining a renewal book of personal lines business
- Identify cross-sell opportunities and foster strong long-term customer relationships
- Monitor renewal retention and proactively address potential issues
- Maintain a strong pipeline of new business through networking, cold calling, referrals, and lead follow-up
- Attend networking events and community activities to increase visibility and attract prospective clients
- Build and maintain relationships with internal business partners and other referral sources
- Rate, quote, and present new business opportunities to prospective clients
- Explain insurance products and coverage options to clients and recommend appropriate solutions
- Collect payments, obtain required signatures, and ensure documentation is completed accurately
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within the agency management system
- Partner with internal service, support, and quality control teams to ensure smooth workflow and excellent client service
- Collaborate with sales leadership to develop strategies and achieve production goals
- Attend sales meetings, agency events, and training sessions with carriers and vendors
- Represent the organization with professionalism and uphold a strong commitment to service excellence
