Sous Chef – Upscale Café & Events | Dallas, TX
We are seeking a talented and driven Sous Chef to join the culinary team at a premier, design-forward dining concept located within one of Dallas’ most prestigious business campuses. This is a unique opportunity to work in a refined, hospitality-driven environment that blends upscale café dining with high-end private events and meetings.
This role is ideal for a chef who thrives in a daytime-focused operation while still executing at a high level for events, banquets, and curated dining experiences.

This concept is not a traditional restaurant. It is a luxury café and event-driven operation serving a sophisticated clientele with a focus on:
- Elevated breakfast and lunch offerings
- Seasonal, chef-driven menus
- Private dining, meetings, and high-touch events

What You’ll Do
- Support the Executive Chef in overseeing all daily kitchen operations
- Lead production and service for breakfast, lunch, and private events
- Execute and maintain high standards across both café service and banquet/event programming
- Train, mentor, and develop a disciplined and professional culinary team
- Assist with menu development, seasonal updates, and event customization
- Manage ordering, inventory, food cost, and labor efficiency
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
- Partner with operations and events teams to deliver seamless, high-level guest experiences
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of experience in a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous role
- Background in upscale café, hotel, or event-driven environments
- Strong experience with banquets, catering, or private dining
- Ability to execute both refined à la carte and high-volume event service
- Organized, systems-driven, and detail-oriented
- Hands-on leadership style with a team-first mentality
- Passion for hospitality, consistency, and quality
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $65,000
- Bonus: 10% performance-based bonus
