Production Manager- Construction (Design-Build)
Location: Elmhurst, IL
Premier Outdoor Environments, Inc. is a high-end design-build firm specializing in luxury residential outdoor living spaces. We create custom patios, outdoor kitchens, landscaping, lighting, and full property enhancements. Our team is known for creative design, exceptional craftsmanship, and turnkey project management.
We’re seeking a Construction Manager to lead field operations, manage crews and subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role with daily field presence, including morning crew dispatch and end-of-day wrap-up.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee all phases of construction from pre-construction to final walkthrough
- Manage crews and subcontractors, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality
- Conduct pre-construction meetings with clients, crews, and Design-Build Team
- Schedule inspections, deliveries, and subcontractor work
- Track time, materials, and project costs using Aspire and update monday.com
- Maintain client communication and ensure an exceptional client experience
- Identify necessary or opportunistic change orders while identifying areas of process improvements
- Support team development and training, fostering a professional, high-performance culture
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years in landscape and hardscape construction
- Experience managing custom, luxury high-end projects
- Familiarity with design-build processes, permitting, and code compliance
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to read blueprints and oversee multidisciplinary projects
- Experience with Aspire or similar project management/job costing software
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
