Chef de Cuisine – Upscale Dining | Seattle, WA
We’re partnering with a highly regarded upscale dining concept in Seattle to find a talented Chef de Cuisine to lead the kitchen. This is a hands-on role where you’ll oversee all back-of-house operations, maintain high culinary standards, and drive performance while developing and inspiring your team. The CDC reports directly to the Corporate Chef and is in charge of the BOH.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead all daily kitchen operations, including prep, line, and plating
- Hire, train, and mentor a high-performing culinary team
- Manage kitchen costs, including food, labor, and inventory
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with front-of-house leadership for seamless guest experiences
- Innovate and execute menus, daily specials, and seasonal offerings
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef in upscale or high-volume concepts
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Hands-on operator with excellent organizational and operational abilities
- Creative culinary vision paired with consistent execution
- Comfortable managing P&L and operational metrics
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive base salary up to $95K
- 10% attainable bonus
