Associate Requirements & Qualifications
- JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admitted or eligible for admission in the District of Columbia
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- High level of professionalism when working with clients and colleagues
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle competing responsibilities
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail
- Effective team player with collaborative mindset
Associate Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Research and draft FCC pleadings and related filings for clients in telecommunications and media
- Prepare court motions, briefs, and other legal documents for federal and state proceedings
- Assist in preparing for depositions and managing the discovery process
- Develop strategies to help clients achieve their regulatory and legislative goals
- Advise clients on regulatory compliance issues in a changing legal landscape
- Support due diligence efforts for complex business transactions
