Director of Rooms – Luxury Resort
Our luxury resort is seeking an experienced Director of Rooms to join our senior leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, service-driven leader to help shape operations, elevate the guest experience, and support a high-performing team culture.
Director of Rooms Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar leadership role
- Strong sense of loyalty, team mentality, and servant leadership
- Passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience
- Creative, solutions-oriented problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SMS Host (or similar systems)
Director of Rooms Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Services
- Lead and develop department leaders through regular check-ins, coaching, and mentorship
- Evaluate, refine, and implement policies and procedures to improve operations
- Serve as a key liaison for VIP guests and elevated service recovery situations
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance goals
