Employment Associate Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of employment litigation, including discrimination, wage and hour, non-compete, and breach of contract matters
- Represent clients before state and federal courts and administrative agencies
- Advise employers on employment law compliance and day-to-day workplace issues
- Draft employment policies, agreements, and related documentation
- Conduct internal workplace investigations
- Deliver employment law training and compliance programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional legal teams to support client needs
Employment Associate Requirements
- JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admission or eligibility for admission in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 4 years of employment law experience
- Experience litigating employment matters in courts and administrative forums
- Strong background advising employers on compliance and HR-related issues
- Experience drafting employment policies and agreements
- Experience conducting investigations and delivering training
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Willingness to work in-office approximately 60% of the time
Employment Associate Benefits
