Staff Accountant – Palm Springs, CA

Staff Accountant Benefits & Compensation

Staff Accountant Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–3 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel required)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple projects
- High level of professionalism and commitment to confidentiality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Staff Accountant Preferred Background & Skills
- Knowledge of NetSuite or similar accounting software
- Experience supporting venue, events, or hospitality operations
Staff Accountant Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Post and reconcile journal entries for transactions and events
- Prepare event settlements, sales journals, and detailed profitability statements
- Perform analysis of accounting records and ensure compliance with controls
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist the Director of Finance with financial reporting needs
