A growing, specialized health insurance agency is seeking a Licensed Insurance Advisor with direct California ACA experience to join its team in a fully remote capacity. This opportunity is ideal for a consultative, client-first professional who enjoys helping individuals and families navigate health insurance decisions while building long-term client relationships.
In this role, you will advise individuals under age 65 on California ACA health insurance options, guide them through eligibility and enrollment, and manage ongoing client relationships throughout the coverage cycle. You will also contribute to business growth through a combination of inbound lead flow, referral development, and proactive outreach. The role requires someone who can balance sales and service, communicate professionally with a broad client base, and operate effectively in a remote environment.
This is not a transactional call-center role. It is best suited for someone who wants to function as a trusted advisor, deliver a high-touch client experience, and grow within a firm that values professionalism, integrity, and long-term relationship building. Compensation includes base salary plus performance-based earnings and a strong benefits package.
What You’ll Do
- Advise clients on California ACA health insurance options, eligibility, and enrollment
- Manage renewals, policy changes, and ongoing client service needs
- Build and maintain a personal book of business
- Develop new business through referrals, outreach, and relationship-building
- Maintain compliant and accurate documentation in CRM and internal systems
- Deliver a consultative, high-service client experience in a fully remote setting
What We’re Looking For
- Active Life & Health insurance license
- 2+ years of direct California ACA experience
- Strong consultative sales and relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- High level of professionalism, organization, and communication
- Covered California certification preferred
- Medicare experience is a plus
Compensation
- Base salary with commissions on new business and residuals
- Successful producers reach $100k+ in OTE in Year 1
