Auto Technician
Are you an experienced auto technician who enjoys working independently and making a difference every day? We’re looking for a Technician to perform on-site maintenance, inspections, and repairs on box trucks and other commercial vehicles — with no overnight travel required.
This is a local, field-based role. If you’re dependable, customer-focused, and ready to grow with a stable company that values your independence and skills, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Perform on-site preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and general repairs on box trucks and light commercial vehicles.
- Inspect and service brakes, electrical systems, and engines.
- Diagnose and repair basic hydraulic and electronic issues using diagnostic tools.
- Complete accurate service reports and communicate clearly with the service team.
- Deliver professional, courteous customer service and ensure vehicles stay safe and reliable.
- Support other technicians and share best practices as needed.
Requirements
Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in auto or truck maintenance and repair.
Education: Technical training or equivalent hands-on experience.
Certifications (a plus):
- ASE Automotive Certifications (A-Series)
- DOT Inspector Certification
- Air Conditioning Certification (EPA 609)
Skills & Traits:
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting ability
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
- Customer-first mindset and commitment to safety
