Auto Technician

Are you an experienced auto technician who enjoys working independently and making a difference every day? We’re looking for a Technician to perform on-site maintenance, inspections, and repairs on box trucks and other commercial vehicles — with no overnight travel required.

This is a local, field-based role. If you’re dependable, customer-focused, and ready to grow with a stable company that values your independence and skills, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

Perform on-site preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and general repairs on box trucks and light commercial vehicles.
Inspect and service brakes, electrical systems, and engines.
Diagnose and repair basic hydraulic and electronic issues using diagnostic tools.
Complete accurate service reports and communicate clearly with the service team.
Deliver professional, courteous customer service and ensure vehicles stay safe and reliable.
Support other technicians and share best practices as needed.

Requirements

Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in auto or truck maintenance and repair.

Education: Technical training or equivalent hands-on experience.

Certifications (a plus):

ASE Automotive Certifications (A-Series)
DOT Inspector Certification
Air Conditioning Certification (EPA 609)

Skills & Traits:

Strong mechanical and troubleshooting ability
Good communication and documentation skills
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
Customer-first mindset and commitment to safety
