Kitchen Manager – San Antonio, TX
Salary: $65,000–$75,000
Schedule: Full-Time

A fast-paced, guest-focused concept in San Antonio is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead its back-of-house operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on consistency, team development, and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations with a focus on food quality, safety, and presentation
- Lead and motivate a high-performing kitchen team through training, coaching, and accountability
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment
- Monitor prep, grill, expo, and plating to ensure brand standards are met
- Manage inventory, food costs, and ordering to align with budget goals
- Conduct line checks and pre-shift meetings to drive team alignment
- Hire, train, and manage kitchen staff in accordance with labor laws and company policies
- Champion urgency, accuracy, and teamwork in every shift
What You Bring:
- 2+ years of kitchen management or culinary leadership experience
- Strong understanding of BOH operations including prep, grill, expo, and quality control
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and allergy protocols
- Experience with inventory systems, ordering, and cost control
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn POS, HR, and inventory software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; Spanish language skills a plus
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
