Cardiology Practice Manager
A busy and growing cardiology practice is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure smooth, efficient administrative and financial management. Cardiology Practice Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in medical office management or healthcare administration
- Proficiency with Epic EMR, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel required
- Experience with Paychex or similar payroll systems
- Strong knowledge of benefits administration and HR compliance
Cardiology Practice Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Cardiology Practice Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day administrative operations of the practice, including scheduling, billing, and patient flow
- Oversee and support front and back office staff to ensure high-quality patient service
- Handle accounting functions using QuickBooks, including accounts payable, receivable, and financial reporting
- Process payroll (Paychex experience strongly preferred) and manage staff benefits administration
- Maintain and optimize electronic medical records (Epic EMR) for accuracy, compliance, and efficiency
- Prepare and analyze reports in Excel to track financial and operational performance
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, licensing, and insurance requirements
- Collaborate with physicians, staff, and vendors to improve workflow and operational efficiency
