Our client’s fast-growing and well-established specialty construction company seeks a strategic and hands-on Director of Safety & Risk. The organization delivers complex structural projects across commercial, industrial, and multi-use spaces. From pre-construction planning through final closeout, this leader ensures the highest standards of quality, safety, and risk management while supporting a culture of excellence and accountability.

Director of Safety & RiskPerks:

Director of Safety & Risk Minimum Requirements:

10+ years of progressive experience in safety and risk management in a construction environment (structural steel strongly preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree a plus
Experience working with AISC Certified Erector Standards, OSHA, and industry compliance programs
Recognized professional certifications (CSP, ASP, CHST, or equivalent) preferred
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Proven ability to implement and oversee quality management and safety systems
Valid driver’s license in good standing and willingness to visit field locations
Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
