General Manager Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of restaurant General Manager experience
  • Strong background in guest service and hospitality
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations and KPIs
  • Ability to uphold and enforce policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Focus on culture, professionalism, and team support

General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Direct overall restaurant operations
  • Achieve financial, quality, service, and cleanliness targets
  • Ensure prompt, professional guest service at all times
  • Select, train, coach, and supervise team members
  • Maintain compliance with SOPs and company policies
  • Resolve guest questions and operational issues
  • Oversee accurate and timely reporting and record keeping
  • Suggest improvements for efficiency and effectiveness
  • Build strong working relationships with team and corporate staff
  • Drive restaurant profitability in line with expectations
