General Manager Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of restaurant General Manager experience
- Strong background in guest service and hospitality
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations and KPIs
- Ability to uphold and enforce policies and procedures
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Focus on culture, professionalism, and team support
General Manager Responsibilities:
- Direct overall restaurant operations
- Achieve financial, quality, service, and cleanliness targets
- Ensure prompt, professional guest service at all times
- Select, train, coach, and supervise team members
- Maintain compliance with SOPs and company policies
- Resolve guest questions and operational issues
- Oversee accurate and timely reporting and record keeping
- Suggest improvements for efficiency and effectiveness
- Build strong working relationships with team and corporate staff
- Drive restaurant profitability in line with expectations
