Civil Project Manager (PE or PE-Track) – Land Development / Site Design

Central, VA (Relocation Provided from Northern VA and Surrounding Areas)

$140,000 – $150,000 Base + OTE up to $165,000 | Full Benefits | Hybrid Flexibility

Overview

A respected civil engineering and land development firm in Central Virginia is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead site and land development projects across the region. This role offers immediate leadership visibility, a strong compensation package, and a paid relocation program for qualified candidates from Northern Virginia, Richmond, Lynchburg, or Roanoke.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil site and land development projects from design through construction.
• Lead and mentor engineering and design teams.
• Review and certify/stamp plans, reports, and calculations (or assist if PE pending).
• Coordinate stormwater, grading, drainage, utility, and roadway design.
• Oversee proposals, budgets, and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• 6+ years of experience in civil site design or land development.
• Active Virginia PE license or EIT working toward licensure.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• $140,000–$150,000 base + OTE to $165,000.
