We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented accountant to join our private club finance team! If you have a positive, outgoing personality and can lead by example, coach newer team members, and care deeply about the accuracy of financials, APPLY TODAY!
Senior Staff Accountant Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting highly preferred
- 3+ years as a Staff Accountant for a hospitality, or real estate company (private club preferred)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience in all phases of corporate accounting and
- Knowledgeable in real estate and hotel accounting
- Experience in integration of computer accounting systems
Senior Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
- Create and post daily general ledger journal entries
- Enter AP and AR invoices for process and payment
- Review bank accounts and transactions for accuracy
- Deposit all checks directly to various bank accounts
- Post Lockbox, ACH, and Credit Card Event payments
- Prepare check requests and bank transfers as needed
- Review night audit batches and prepare daily cash activity journal entries
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
