Dry Food Sales Director – Requirements & Qualifications
- 7–10 years of experience in food sales, with a strong preference for dry food, CPG, or grocery sectors
- Demonstrated success in new business development and account acquisition
- Deep industry knowledge of dry food categories, distribution channels, and retail buyers
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-starter approach and ability to build sales systems from scratch
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
- Skilled in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and modern sales tools
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events
Dry Food Sales Director – Preferred Background & Skills
- Established relationships with key retailers, foodservice buyers, and distributors
- Experience launching or scaling new product lines in the food industry
- Background in startup or high-growth business environments
- Comfortable leading cross-functional initiatives involving operations, marketing, and logistics
