Growing international manufacturing facility in Northern Charlotte suburb seeks a CNC Programmer skilled in Fusion 360 to set up and be a lead machinist within a custom high performance plastics machine shop. Ideal candidates have a mix of strong technical expertise in horizontal and vertical mills and lathes. Experienced in set up and proving parts and fixture building on the floor hands on.  Experience with "tombstones" or pallet changers preferred.

CNC Programmer Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of CNC programming experience in a production machine shop

• Proficiency in Mastercam and/or Fusion 360 for vertical and horizontal milling

• Ability to design CNC fixtures and tooling in SolidWorks or similar CAD software

• Skilled in writing and optimizing programs, building fixturing, and machine setup for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines

• Capable of training set-up personnel and documenting detailed setup/tooling procedures to ensure efficient production

CNC Programmer Preferred Background & Skills:

• Experience working with FANUC controls and ISO-certified manufacturing environments

• Background in CNC plastic machining and a proactive approach to adopting new manufacturing technologies
