We’re seeking a strategic, people-centered Corrections Healthcare Director to lead and oversee medical operations across our clients Health Services units. Located in Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area.

Corrections Healthcare Director Responsibilities:

  • Lead corporate oversight of staffing, financial performance, and administrative operations for multiple correctional healthcare contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards (ACA, NCCHC, Joint Commission) and regulatory guidelines.
  • Mentor and support on-site Health Services Administrators to maintain high performance and optimal staffing levels.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, vendor contracts, inventory, and pharmacy operations.
  • Conduct on-site assessments and support quality improvement initiatives across all units.

Corrections Healthcare Director Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospital Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations or medical services management.
  • 3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong grasp of correctional healthcare systems and compliance standards is a plus
